Welcome to Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord! Our desire is to bring the Christ that lives within us to the world so that they might encounter Him and His saving love and grace.
Our endeavor to “make disciples of all nations, through: baptizing them and teaching them all that he [Jesus] taught” by the power of the Holy Spirit through:
· remembering our own Baptisms
· being in prayer with our Heavenly Father
· breathing in the breath of life by studying His Word
· by receiving God’s gifts in Sunday worship including Jesus’ Body and Blood at His table
· by serving the least of these within and outside our congregation
· our many fellowship events for our children, youth, young adults and the community
"Welcome!" says so much about our church family. We believe that every person who comes through our doors and each who are a part of our special fellowship was sent by God Himself. Every person is significant because God sent His only Son to die for each of them. Consequently, God loves everyone and desires that all should know His Son's love and be saved. It is the genuine and heartfelt desire of this congregation to express that love in ways that value people and honor Christ.
It does not take long to discover that Risen Lord is unique. We are an extended,
intergenerational family rich in loving relationships. We are gifted by the Spirit
of God to serve others and go out into our world with God's life-
